Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Maryam Nawaz Sharif asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to answer the ‘show-cause notice, which has been served to him by the nation’ instead of serving his dissident MPs with show-cause notices.
“Which of your party members will be able to face public, as you have pushed Pakistan towards extreme inflation, poverty, lawlessness and unemployment” Maryam asked the Prime Minister, in her twitter statement.
In a subsequent tweet, Maryam said public representatives belonging to the ruling party were left with two options. “Either they stand with their people, or became part of notorious and disgraceful history by assisting you,” she wrote, calling out at the premier.
PML-N Vice President said Prime Minister Imran has lost majority in the parliament. “As you say, you have issued notices to fourteen of your MNAs. This means that you are only left with 165. Hence you have lost the majority” Maryam addressed PM Imran.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Prime Minister had given away the constitutional and ethical right of being called a ‘Prime Minister’.
