The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Anti-Corruption Sahewal Region summoned Ahmed Mujtaba Maneka, brother of former Prime Minister’s wife Bushra Bibi on Tuesday.
He faces the charge of alloting the state land on lease illegally through his front man Tahir Zahoor.
Later, shops were constructed on the state land. He has been directed to appear before the Sahiwal Anti-Corruption Establishment Okara circle.
The case against the seven accused was registered on June 13 by
Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Okara circle with case numbers 166,409,420 and 5.2 / 47 PCAs.
