APHC leaders including the heads of parties Islamic Political Party – JK Mohammad Yusuf Naqash, Tehreek-e-Mazhamat Bilal Sidiqui, Muslim Democratic League Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, Kashmir Mass Movement Molvi Basher, and chief organiser People’s Freedom League Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah on Sunday visited Pulwama in south Kashmir to pay tributes to martyrs.
Apart from APHC leaders, IPP senior leader Adnan Salafi also addressed people in Pulwama. They also visited the home of incarcerated general secretary of Muslim League Muhammad Rafiq Ganaie in Achhabal, Islamabad to condole the demise of his mother.
The leaders in their address said: “India’s stubbornness will not help it in any way as the Indian oppression has inflicted such a deep pain on the people of this state that they will never forget and will continue their freedom struggle without caring for their lives.”
They said the nation of Kashmir is indebted to all the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for the greater cause of liberation of Jammu Kashmir from the forcible rule of India.
He said that day in and day out, our brave-hearts are laying down their lives for the freedom of Kashmir and now it is our responsibility to safeguard these sacrifices.
The Hurriyat leaders also prayed in favour of all the martyrs and reiterated their pledge of continuing with the mission of martyrs and said that no one will be allowed to play with their precious sacrifices.
They said Indian forces are deliberately targeting the new generation of Kashmiris but made it clear that this generation will never bow to the suppressive tactics of imperialist powers.
Leaders said the people of Jammu Kashmir have been rendering sacrifices of the highest kind but it is unfortunate that the international community is still unmoved by the grave human rights violations carried out by Indian forces in Kashmir.
They said the loss of precious human lives on daily basis in Kashmir is due to the unresolved dispute which if resolved at earliest will put end to the bloodshed in the region.
