Supreme Court (SC) while allowing federal government to conduct investigation in respect of all matters under commission with reference to Faizabad Dharna has directed Attorney General of Pakistan it should be got entered in TORS that filing review petitions were an accident or were filed under some one directives.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa remarked are the decisions taken before decisions. Who thinks courts were being controlled , this case is its major example.
He observed it was known to all who was doing this all. But no one has courage to mention name. The enemy of country is not outsider. All are enemies by themselves inside the country.
Justice Athar Minallah remarked every institution should do its work on its own. Don’t get such work done from us which was done some time in the past by exercising powers of clause 184.
The court dismissed the petition of Sheikh Rashid being withdrawn by him,
A three members bench of SC presided over by CJP Qazi Faez Isa took up for hearing case pertaining to implementation of court’s decision in Faizabad Dharna case.
AG, Sheikh Rashid and his counsel appeared in the court.
The CJP questioned from the counsel of Sheikh Rashid why he had filed review petition.
The counsel said some misperceptions emerged from agencies report. Upon it we filed review petition.
The CJP remarked no one speaks truth here. All know under whose behest review petitions were filed. If 100 years pass even then Sheikh Rashid will not speak truth that he filed appeal at whose behest.
The CJP remarked all including judges are accountable. There is such impression that SC is being controlled from outside too. It is said such decision will come in such case. No one speaks truth in the court.
Justice Athar Minallah remarked Sheikh Rashid name was in the report of ISI. Sheikh Rashid himself was parliamentarian. Why the action was not taken against ISI.
The CJP questioned why the representative of ministry of defence was not included in the commission. Government commission is either for throwing dust in the eyes or it will write new history.
The CJP remarked we will hear this case after two months.
The AG requested that hearing of the case be held after January 20.
The CJP remarked no one is exempted. Commission can call all.
