QUETTA: At least five people were injured on Sunday after a blast near Musa check post in Quetta. The blast was heard throughout the provincial capital. Security and rescue services rushed to the site after the explosion was reported. The injured were shifted to nearby medical facilities and security forces have established a cordon around the area. The nature of the blast has not been ascertained yet. Last month, at least eight passengers were injured when a blast targeted the Jaffar Express. Two bogeys of the train were also derailed. Train service was suspended after the blast due to which women, children and elderly people faced difficulties. Security was tightened at the spot to avoid any other untoward incident.
