LAHORE: A lady polio worker has been injured during attack on polio team in the area of Police chowki Firdous market Gulbert. Polio team was attacked in Gulberg union council 98 and a lady polio worker Nusrat Bibi was injured. Area Incharge Noor Muhammad told to media lady workers of polio team went to a home at Gulberg Union Council 98 to administer polio drops and the ladies therein refused to get administer polio drops to their children and attacked the team. As a result one lady polio worker Nusrat Bibi was injured. UCMO Abdul Wahid said that they will lodge FIR against those involved in attacking polio team. Those who have taken law in their hands will be brought to justice. Online
