PESHAWAR: An awareness seminar on the role and responsibilities of the ombudsman organized by the provincial ombudsman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Friday. The Caretaker Provincial Minister for law and human rights Justice retired Syed Arshad Hussain Shah attended the seminar as a special guest. Provincial ombudsman Jamaluddin Shah along with ombudsman officials and supervisors from Peshawar participated. The Ombudsman is actively working to provide justice to people without compensation, Provincial Law Minister Justice Retired Syed Arshad Hussain said during his address to the seminar. Our effort should be to create convenience for the people, Justice Retired Syed Arshad Hussain said. The public can file a complaint of any mismanagement against any provincial department with the provincial ombudsman and the complaint is redressed within six months, the minister was informed during the seminar.
