PESHAWAR
An awareness session on the theme: ‘Protection and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights jointly organized by Industrialists Association Peshawar and Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan at IAP office.
The session was chaired by the IAP president Ayub Zakori while chairperson of Intellectual Property Organisation of Pakistan Furrukh Amil participated as chief guest on the occasion, said in a press release here on Saturday.
A huge number of industrial owners from among small and large industries including their team attended the session along with concerned staff officers from FIA, KPEZDMC and IPO.
Chairperson IPO Furrukh Amil informed participants about main objectives of the organisation and highlighted the importance of the awareness session.
In his open remarks, IAP president Ayub Zakori said the session would enable participants to get aware about intellectual property; Trademark Registry; Copyrights protection; Efficient and Integrated management of intellectual property; Enforcement of intellectual property rights; Patent and design registration.
Ayub Zakori hailed active participants of members of the business community in the session.
He also praised the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan for organising such an important session.
He concluded the session with a message of having complete knowledge of IP law; utilizing representative offices; highlighting issues and participating in healthy discussion; showing unity and strength of representative forums.
