Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has become the second quickest batsman to score 8000 Twenty20 International runs.
Babar completed this milestone during second Twenty2o International match against England at National Stadium Karachi, as the Team Green Captain smashed a century ton during a record-breaking successful chase of 200 runs.
Babar scored unbeaten 11o of just 66 balls, supported by Muhammad Rizwan’s solid 88 of 51 helped Pakistan level the seven match series 1-1.
West Indies’ ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle is the quickest to reach 8000 T20I runs in 213 inning, while Babar Azam has done it in 218 T20I innings. India’s Virat Kohli scored 8000 T20I runs in 243 matches.
