Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education Kamran Bangash has lambasted the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja over recent remarks regarding international cricket matches in Peshawar.

The provincial minister expressed these remarks on his twitter here on Saturday. Kamran Bangash noted that KP government has taken effective steps to rehabilitate cricket grounds in the provincial capital and the recent statement by the PCB chairman regarding the KP is highly condemnable.
The province has shed blood for the revival of sports and especially cricket, he said and added the province has produced world class cricketers and sportsmen in the international arena of sports.
Bangash maintained that Rameez Raja should be careful while commenting on an issue as his statement has shocked the people of the province.
First Peshawar and then KP have always been on the heights of diversity, regarding the construction of an international standard cricket ground in the province, he said.
Peshawar will host international matches with the completion of two international cricket stadiums, he added and said that unparalleled talent would be produced once the above-mentioned cricket stadium is completed in Peshawar.
