After ‘PTI victory’ in by-polls
PESHAWAR
The spokesperson for the provincial government Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif called for early and transparent general elections in the country.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has stunned Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) joint candidates in the recently held by-elections, adding that the incumbent federal government has lost moral justification for further delaying polls.
“General elections should be announced as early as possible or face PTI’s long march on Islamabad for real freedom,” he warned.
In a statement, Barrister Saif maintained that PTI has defeated a number of parties of PDM on different National Assembly seats in KP, Punjab. PDM should recognize the importance and presence of PTI in the masses and a call should be made for the fresh mandate, he added.
Mr Saif claimed that Imran Khan is the popular leader of the country at the moment, but the ‘imported government’ will not understand this because the PDM leadership was not ready to face him in the elections.
“Imran Khan will call for real freedom in the same month after which a sea of people will flow from Khyber to Karachi towards Islamabad,” he threatened.
Rana Sanaullah will not even find a place to hide in the same containers. The Special Assistant said that the youth chapter of the country supported the narrative of Imran Khan and would play a key role in the PTI’s march on Islamabad.
He said that the days of the imported government are numbered, their power will end soon and Imran Khan will once again emerge as the Prime Minister with majority seats in the NA.
