Ruling Alliance while demanding constitution of full court bench once again to hear the case against the Punjab Assembly (PA) deputy speaker ruling in the election of Chief Minister (CM) Punjab has said that bench fixing too is offence like match fixing.
The ruling alliance leaders said while addressing an important press conference here Monday that only a wrong decision will blow out this entire case. If scale is correct then the country will be corrected automatically. 3 persons cannot decide the fate of the country. The system of Kuffr can run but system of tyranny cannot run.
When Maryam Nawaz was coming to address press conference then several people asked her through messages not to address press conference as her appeal is pending hearing.
Maryum Nawaz while strongly criticizing the judiciary decisions and modus operandi said Chuirchil had said during second world war that no one can defeat us if our courts are dispensing justice to us.
She held I want to put some facts before the nation. I don’t want to go into 75 years old history.
I want to invite reference to some incidents which have taken place during the past some years.
She underlined wrong decision can be given by any one. But making wrong decision persistently is what. The decisions are not infertile. They leave far reaching repercussions. The effects of some decisions are not curtailed with the passage of time but their impact deepens further in coming decades.
She said the insult of any institution is not made from outside but it comes from within. The judiciary is insulted not by any person but is insulted due to its decisions. I can write a long article in praise of the judiciary but a wrong decision will blow out this entire case. On the other hand if the decision is based on justice then the criticism loses its meaning how much it is made.
She underlined that PTI approached Supreme Court (SC) against the election of Hamza Shahbaz as CM Punjab. They jumped the walls of SC Lahore registry. The nation witnessed that SC registry was opened during night hours on holiday. Registrar came running from home and asked for the petition. PTI said the petition has not been prepared so far. Registrar said upon it that we are sitting here and you should prepare the petition. The petitions are not fixed for hearing this way.
She indicated 6 votes were rejected in the election of chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani. When the SC was approached then it said that the ruling of speaker cannot be challenged.
On the other side PA deputy speaker gave ruling that those members of PML-Q who have cast votes against the will of Chaudhry Shujaat their votes will not be counted But SC called them in the dock while it was ruing of deputy speaker.
There is another example of the decisions like this when the court said the constitution has been abrogated even then Qasim Soori was not called. Qasim Soori case is open and shut case. His fake votes have been proved but he is enjoying stay order since the last two and half years. In the abrogation of constitution case the president and Qasim Soori are involved but they are not summoned in the court. On the other hand PM Shahbaz Sharif is often seen in the courts.
25 members of assembly were de-seated for casting vote against the party line and it was said that their votes will not be counted., she said adding the 95 percent legal experts said in regard to this decision of SC that this decision is tantamount to rewrite the constitution.
The court through this decision threw 25 members of PML-N in the lap of Imran Khan and 10 members of PML-Q in the lap of Imran Khan too.
The justice lies where when PTI members are enhanced and PML-N members are reduced. The interpretation of the constitution is changed after seeing the party and party head.
When Chaudhry Shujaat gives any order as president of party then questions are raised upon it and when Imran Khan gives any order then the order is considered credible.
She questioned that the unique thoughts like trustee chief ministers and black law dictionary come from where. Has it been heard any where that there is trustee chief minister. Ever since Hamza Shahbaz has become chief minister he has not been allowed to work. He was not allowed to make cabinet.
The chief justice gave remarks the economic situation is not better. When Nawaz Sharif was ousted and Imran Khan left the government then economy was in what condition. When Imran Khan went then economy was on ventilator.
She observed that Imran Khan cabinet handed over Rs 50 billion received from UK to Malik Riaz silently. It was money of Pakistani nation. Where it has gone and where is its money trail. Did any one take suo motu notice on it.
She remarked JIT was constituted on full court reference. Monitoring judge was appointed. The judge who was appointed as monitoring judge at that time . he is still a monitoring judge on us. That judge was appointed for one case but it seems as if he has been appointed monitoring judge on us life time.
Contempt of court cases were registered against our leaders while they have not committed any contempt of court. But they are still disqualified.
Responding to a question from the journalist she said Imran Khan sacrifice for the country is zero. All the leaders and Nawaz Sharif have rendered sacrifices. The government can not run under pressure.
Imran Khan leveled allegation of rigging after winning 15 out of 20 seats. This is the first man who leveled the allegation of rigging after winning the election, she held.
Foreign Minister and PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said there is only one demand of the democratic parties of this country that there should be full court bench. This cannot happen that 3 persons decide the fate of this country. This country will run under democratic system or elected system or selected system.
What is written in the constitution. Will these persons decide about it or the representative political parte4is of this country.
We are seeing that certain people are not digesting it that country is heading towards democratic direction.
We did not pursue the path of violence. Maryam Nawaz and Faryal Talpur were cast in jail. President Zardari was not provided medicines in jail. These courts were not hearing our cases at that time.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said when economy is set right then stability will come. Every one needs self accountability at present.
