ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto on Tuesday gave an interview to the Cable News Network (CNN), appraising the world of its responsibility to find solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change. In an interview with CNN, Bilawal said Pakistan suffered a lot of damage due to the climate-induced devastating floods. The Foreign Minister said Pakistan contributes less than one percent of global carbon footprint but it is the 8th most affected country by the climate change, which is a great injustice. “There’s not going to be a planet for us to fight over’ unless climate crisis is solved,” Bilawal told CNN in his interview. During the interview, Bilawal said Pakistan contributed less than one percent of the global carbon footprint but it was the 8th most stressed country on the planet, in that sense it was a great injustice to the country. “We are feeling brunt of the damages caused by climate change.” ONLINE
