Bilawal vows to make Karachi bride of cities in true sense

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed the success of the party candidates in the Karachi Mayor and Deputy Mayor elections as a historic success and a victory for the whole of Pakistan.
According to the statement issued by Media Cell Bilawal House Thursday, Chairman PPP extended congratulations to Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui for being elected Mayor of Karachi and Salman Abdullah Murad as Deputy Mayor.
He said that the success is the result of the long struggle and sacrifices of the Jiyalas of Karachi. “The politics of hatred and division in the economic hub of the country reached its logical conclusion, and democracy is, undoubtedly, the best revenge,” he added.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari vowed that his party would make Karachi the “Uroos-ul-Bilaad” (bride of cities) in true sense, and Karachi will now be the cradle of development, peace and brotherhood, adding that the problems of every street, neighborhood and area of Karachi would be solved without discrimination.
“All the elected representatives of PPP, including Murtaza Wahab and Salman Abdullah Murad, have heavy responsibilities on their shoulders now, but I am sure that Jiyalas, who faced the toughest conditions in the past, will make a new history by carrying out thier duties brilliantly,” he added.
