ISLAMABAD, (TLTP): The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s largest cryptocurrency, set a new record price on Friday and reached $53,779 after gaining 3.26 percent at 1610 GMT on Friday.
With this increase, the market capitalisation of the BTC has crossed $1 trillion. Bitcoin rose above its milestone price level of $50,000 and reached $51,627 earlier on Thursday. The digital asset is up fivefold over the past year, while it is up over 50 percent this month.
On the other hand, Ethereum (ETH) gained 1.63 percent to reach $1,948. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH reached $222.7 billion.
Likewise, Litecoin (LTC) price jumped to $232.6 with a 1.28 percent increase. The market capitalisation of LTC stands at $15.45 billion after this increase. Similarly, Tether (USDT) price gained 0.17 percent to reach $1. With this increase, the market capitalisation of the USTD has reached $33.5 billion. TLTP
