Cryptocurrencies landed in the positive as overall prices saw minor gains across the board on Sunday, with the market cap rising 1.2 percent to reach $1.18 trillion.
As of 1320 hours GMT, Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s most valued token, increased to $27,153 with a gain of 1 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalisation of the biggest crypto reached $526 billion with this increase. Bitcoin has gained 1 percent of its value over the last seven days.
Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, gained 0.7 percent to reach $1,842. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $221.5 billion. ETH has been 1.7 percent down in the past seven days. Ethereum has managed to reclaim its position above the $1,800 level.
However, if Ethereum’s price drops below this level, it may indicate a bearish market trend, leading to further downward movement in its value.
Binance Coin (BNB) price increased 0.7 percent to reach $307. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of BNB has reached $48.6 billion. BNB has shed 0.6 percent of its value during the last seven days.
On the other hand, Ripple (XRP) price saw a minor decrease of 0.1 percent to reach $0.472. The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $24.6 billion with this decrease. XRP has gained 1.5 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Conversely, Cardano (ADA) price surged 3.6 percent to reach $0.377. Its market capitalisation has reached $13.2 billion with this increase. ADA has gained 4.2 percent of its value in the past seven days.
Other popular altcoins including Solana (SOL) also landed in the positive. Neo (NEO) emerged to be the biggest gainer, seeing a 24-hour jump of over 11.53 percent. Render Token (RNDR), on the other hand, turned out to be the biggest loser.
