Bitcoin slips to $28,319 in mixed trade

The cryptocurrency market remained mixed on Wednesday, with the market capitalization losing 0.5 percent to decline to $1.12 trillion.
As of 1350 hours GMT, Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, surged by 0.5 percent in the last 24 hours to reach $28,319. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $552.7 billion with this decrease. Bitcoin has been 4.2 percent up in the past seven days.
However, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, gained 0.4 percent to reach $1,574. With this increase in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $189.4 billion. ETH has been 0.1 percent up in the past seven days.
Following suit, Binance Coin (BNB) price increased by 1 percent to reach $212. The market capitalization of BNB has reached $32.6 billion with this increase. BNB has gained 2.3 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Similarly, the price of Ripple (XRP) inched up by 0.1 percent to reach $0.489. The market capitalization of XRP stands at $26.2 billion with this increase. XRP has gained 0.5 percent of its value during the last seven days.
On the other hand, Solana (SOL) price increased by 0.3 percent to reach $23.73. With this increase in price, its market capitalization has reached $9.8 billion. SOL has gained 7.1 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Other popular altcoins including Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), and Litecoin (LTC) landed in the red across the board. The Toncoin (TON) token became the biggest gainer of the lot, with a 24-hour gain of over 7 percent. Sui (SUI), on the other hand, became the biggest loser, with a 24-hour dip of over 9 percent.
