BKMC provides medical aid to over 2,700 patients during Eid

Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC) has released a report detailing the medical services provided to the public during the three days of nuEid ul-Fitr.
According to the report, a total of 2,755 patients received medical treatment at the hospital, while the emergency department remained operational 24/7 without any interruption.
The hospital treated 90 patients injured in traffic accidents, 11 patients wounded in firing incidents, and 13 patients who suffered burns from fireworks. Additionally, 65 babies were born during the Eid holidays, while 15 major surgeries and 150 minor surgeries were performed.
The hospital also conducted over 3,796 diagnostic tests, including X-rays and CT scans. Furthermore, 74 dialysis sessions were completed for kidney patients to ensure they did not face any difficulties during the holidays.
According to the hospital’s spokesperson, special duties were assigned to doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other medical and administrative staff to provide immediate medical aid to the public during Eid. The hospital administration appreciated the efforts of all staff members who performed their duties diligently during the Eid holidays.
