PESHAWAR
Director Tehsil Topi MTI Hospital, Dr. Sahibzada Khalid Wednesday said that Blood Bank has been activated in the hospital under health reforms.
In a statement, he has said that the activation of the facility will help provide various services beside other facilities to patients.
Patients from far-flung areas of the district used to come to the hospital and were facing difficulties in getting blood, but now the service will be available on the round the clock basis.
The Director MTI Hospital on this occasion also launched a blood donation campaign and appealed to the people to donate maximum blood to provide assistance in saving the lives of patients. He said that the registration of the Thalassemia patients in the nearby localities is compulsory with the hospital.
