PESHAWAR: An important meeting of the board of studies for the Department of Earth Sciences was held here on Saturday with Vice-Chancellor (VC) Abbottabad University, professor Dr Malik Mujaddad-ur-Rehman, in the chair. The panel of experts was comprised of Dr Javed Iqbal, Associate Professor, Department of Earth Sciences, University of Haripur, Dr Javed Iqbal Tanoli, Chairman/Associate Professor, Department of Earth Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus and Dr. Akhtar Iqbal, Additional Registerar (Academics) Abbottabad UST. Dr Zahid Imran Bhatti (HOD) presented the agenda to the board members comprising the revised curriculum and scheme of studies for BS Geology according to HEC new Undergraduate Policy 2023. The Board of Studies recommended the revised scheme of studies after incorporating the modification suggested by the experts. The VC Dr Malik Mujaddad-ur-Rehman appreciated the efforts of Dr Zahid Imran Bhatti (Head of the Department) and congratulated the whole faculty on the successful conduct of the Board of Studies.
