SHIKARPUR: A letter will be written to the president Chamber of Commerce, Grain Market & Market Committee Shikarpur, that not to employ the children at the workplace of factories and shops.
This is said by Kashif Nabi Khuhro, the chairman of the committee & deputy commissioner Shikarpur, while presiding the meeting of the vigilance committee. He further said that the law has been made to stop bonded labor & child labor. He directed Assistant Commissioners of four Talukas that they make a list of brick kilns and ask their owners to submit affidavits that not to involve in child labor and bonded labor.
Earlier members of the committee, superintendent prison Ashfaq Ahmed Kalwar, Deputy Director Social welfare Irfanullah Memon & others told that there is no officer of the labor department has been appointed since long and even there is no office of labor department has been established in Shikarpur. Officers of police, prison, education & social welfare departments attended the meeting.
