KABUL
The stubbornness of the Afghan Taliban continues after the border closure and suspension of trade, which is causing huge financial loss to Afghanistan.
According to media reports, after the closure of trade, prices of essential and edible commodities also rose in Afghanistan.
People of Afghanistan expressed grave concern over the rise in prices of edible items. They said, “Basic food items are now beyond the reach of the common man; how can the poor survive?”
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce said that Afghanistan is bearing a loss of $200 million due to the suspension of trade.
Rising prices of fuel and edible items are making the lives of Afghans more miserable. They warned that a delay in the opening of the border may lead to some human trafficking and economic loss.
The occupying Afghan Taliban has pushed Afghanistan into the quagmire of a severe economic crisis.
