The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Boxing Association (KPBA) will kick off boxing activities in the province very soon. In this regard a schedule of inter clubs, inter districts and inter regional competitions on KP level will be released.
Itrat Nazir Buhtti, general secretary KPBA talking to reporters said that the association would bring all its available resources for the promotion of boxing game. He added that the association with full support of Directorate of Sports Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had organized various boxing events and tournaments at national and regional level in the past and would also continue its efforts in future as well.
He maintained that KPBA would very soon organized senior and junior competitions of male and female in near future. He further said that boxing game created courage and spirit among the players which would help them in every field of life. “ The future of boxing game is very bright in the province and talented players will come forward from grassroot level competitions” Mr Buhtti expressed his hope.
