Buzdar meets PML-N MPAs in a bid to save his throne

Seeing his throne in real danger, the Punjab chief minister has also become active as he has met a bunch of PML-N members of Punjab Assembly who reposed full confidence in his leadership.
In order to stave off the opposition’s planned no-confidence motion against him, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar is setting up meetings with the members of the Punjab Assembly belonging to the opposition parties.
He held a meeting with PML-N MPA Azhar Abbas Chandia and some other MPAs from Muzaffargarh. The MPAs expressed their full confidence in the leadership of Buzdar.
Mr Buzdar also met with other MPAs belonging to his party and allied parties including Ghazin Abbasi, Samiullah Chaudhry, Tahir Bashir Cheema and Randeem Qureshi.
They discussed the overall political situation prevailing in the country and exchanged views on ongoing development schemes in South Punjab. They also discussed the establishment of a secretariat in South Punjab.
It’s a great pride for our government that we earmarked 35% development funds for South Punjab, Mr Buzdar said boasting further that it was a historic step of his government that a 32% quota in jobs was set aside for South Punjab.
He bragged that after 70 years, South Punjab was given its right.
Talking to various elected representatives, Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government stands firm at political front to foil nefarious designs of the opposition.
He said the government enjoys full support of its allies and will continue to serve the masses.
The lawmakers said that they had full confidence in the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister and thanked for resolving the issues of their constituencies on priority basis.
