The by-elections in the village councils of Malik Khel Kotke and Choga of Shangla district continued without any break from 8.00 am in the morning and would continue up till 5.00 pm in the afternoon.
All out security measures for the safety of the voters have been taken by the district administration. Like other districts of the province, the two village councils of Shangla, Malik Khel Kotke, Choga Ki Mazdoor Kisan and VC Choga. The by-elections for youth seats continue.
The total number of registered votes in both village councils is 14846, in which male voters are 8669 and female voters are 6177.
A total of 12 polling stations and 27 polling booths have been established in which 4 polling stations are for men, 4 for women and 4 are common. Thus, there are 15 polling booths for men and 12 for women.
