Karachi – February 16 (Online): Sindh Police arrests PTI’s Haleem Adil Sheikh for not following the regulations of Election Commission of Pakistan.
According to details, polling is underway for the by-elections in PS-88 constituency of Sindh assembly. PTI’s Haleem Adil Sheikh was roaming with armed guards during the polling.
Taj Haidar complained ECP about Haleem’s conduct and asked ECP to take actions.
ECP issued a notification and commanded Haleem to move out of the constituency. Haleem Adil Shiekh denied moving out.
Police arrested Sindh Assembly’s opposition leader. Police also faced resistance during the process.
Haleem Adil Sheikh was moved to SSP office Malir.
