PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) president Muhammad Humayun Khan has said that the meetings of Pakistan Democratic Movement have created turmoil in the ranks of the rulers and days of incumbent government are numbered. He said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has become the voice of the masses and its every step was beneficial for the betterment of the society and country alike. Humayun Khan said that people has come to know that getting rid of the incompetent government is the need of the hour as it has created a lot of problems for a poor man and had imposed a shadow martial law in the country to serve its vested interest to weaken the democratic forces and parliament. The public meeting on December 13 under the PDM will be an important milestone for the overthrow of the government and non-democratic forces he added. Provincial president said that December 13, a grand public meeting of the opposition alliance at Lahore Minar-i-Pakistan, proved to be a referendum against the government of Imran Khan. PPP has made unforgettable sacrifices for the survival of democracy in the country and the ongoing struggle under the umbrella of PDM against a resolve to make the country a peaceful, prosperous democratic nation. Today, he said, dictatorship is ruling in the name of democracy in Pakistan and all political parties have been taken for granted, adding that Imran Khan and its government will go home very soon with the power of opposition alliance. According to the aspirations of the people, a new elected government will be formed soon through a transparent election. Imran Khan Niazi’s politics was nothing but deception and fraud, adding that the PDM meeting will prove to be the last nail in the coffin of the government. DLP Report
