A match screening of the match between India and Pakistan of the ICC t20 World Cup 2022 was organised by Capital Media House (CMH) and the Embassy of People’s Republic of China, Islamabad at The Millennium Universal College (TMUC).
Chinese Ambassador H.E Nang Rong in a video message said “We are proud of Pakistan -China friendship. Cricket is the most popular sport in Pakistan and we hope Pakistan achieves well in the world cup.” China’s press attaché, Dong Weli said, “I am very impressed by the culture and customs of Pakistan. I know the Pakistani obsession with the game of cricket and if there is a match between Pakistan and India, it is something else. Although i am not much aware about cricket, looking at the enthusiasm of students makes me feel happy.
Maarij Farooq, of Capital Media House said that India-Pakistan match is always sensational and we support Pakistan team. Winning and losing is part of the game and no matter which team wins, we must always believe in our players.
Upon organising the screening, the officials of Capital Media House said that our aim is to bring students together and enjoy the match together regardless of the result.
A screen was installed at TMUC and a large number of cricket fans were present on the occasion.
