Lahore November 09 (Online): PML-N lader Capt (retd) Safdar Awan tested positive for the coronavirus, media reports stated on Monday.
Capt (retd) Safdar returned to Lahore from Gilgit-Baltistan where he was participating in the election campaign ahead of November 15 polls.
The PML-N leader is admitted and receiving treatment at the Sharif Medical City Hospital.
It is to mention here that last month Capt (retd) Safdar was arrested by the Sindh police while the couple was staying in a hotel in Karachi for the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). The development came a day after he chanted political slogans at the Quaid’s mausoleum.
