ISLAMABAD: Resignation of care taker Prime Minister (PM) Anwar ul Haq Kakar has been accepted from his Senate seat. Secretary Senate Qasim Samad has issued formal notification in this regard. It has been said in the text of the notification Anwar ul Haq Kakar wants to maintain his impartiality after his appointment as care taker PM. He resigned from Senate seat due to his principled stance. His Senate seat has been declared vacant from August 14 following the acceptance of his resignation. Online
