MUMBAI: Actress Vaishnavi Dhanraj, who played the role of Inspector Tasha Kumar in India’s popular Afaq TV drama serial CID, filed a case against her mother and brother after being the worst victim by her family. According to Indian media, famous TV actress Vishnavi Dhanraj recently accused her family of abusing and severely torturing her, after which the actress reached the police station. Vishnavi Dhanraj released a video statement from the police station in which she can be seen in an injured state, the actress said in her video statement that I am in the Kashmir police station, I need help. My family made worst worst violence, my face and hands are injured. In her video statement, the actress also appealed for help from the media, news channels and people associated with the showbiz industry. After Vishnavi Dhanraj’s video statement, the police have registered a non-cognizable case against the actress’ mother and brother. It should be noted that the Indian media had said in their report that Vaishnavi Dhanraj’s family had kept her hostage in the house, the family had also taken her mobile phone in their possession, the actress was not even allowed to go out of the house.
