PESHAWAR: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) on Tuesday chaired a crime review meeting at the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines. SSP Operation Mansoor Aman, SSP investigation Nowsher Khan, SP Cantt Hassan Jehangir, and other officials attended the meeting. The CCPO on the occasion asked officials to collect data on criminal elements and identify hot spots in the provincial capital in order to control crime rate. He said aerial firing drug smuggling, particularly ice, must be curbed. He also directed officials to complete the pending cases of investigation and also treat the visitors well at the police stations. “The benefits of police reforms must trickle down to the public and the problems of women and the elderly must be solved on priority basis,” he added.
