CECOS University marked a momentous occasion today with its Convocation Ceremony 2024, celebrating the academic achievements of its graduating students.
The event, held in Peshawar, brought together a distinguished audience of students, faculty, and esteemed guests.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof Dr M. Qasim Jan, former Minister for Higher Education, Archives, and Libraries, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who served as the Chief Guest. Addressing the graduates, Dr Qasim Jan praised their dedication and urged them to embrace perseverance, innovation, and ethical values as cornerstones for building successful careers.
“You are the shapers of tomorrow, and your education is the foundation upon which you will build your future,” he remarked, leaving the graduates with an inspiring message.
The convocation procession, led by Engr Muhammad Tanveer Javed, President of CECOS University, and Dr. Naseer Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, included Deans, Heads of Departments, and faculty members, all adorned in ceremonial academic regalia.
The procession reflected the university’s enduring commitment to academic excellence and its traditions.
In his welcome address, Engr Muhammad Tanveer Javed highlighted the university’s legacy of fostering talent and innovation.

Degrees were conferred upon students from diverse disciplines, including engineering, life sciences, business, computer sciences, and architecture.
