Chief Secretary Punjab Kamran Ali Afzal has regretted to work with Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi .
The chief secretary has written a letter to secretary establishment division for his transfer to federation saying he cannot discharge the responsibilities of chief secretary on personal grounds, therefore, his services be withdrawn from Punjab forthwith.
Sources said chief secretary Punjab has clearly refused to comply with the illegal orders of the CM Punjab besides regretting to work with him further.
Chief secretary was of the view that Muhammad Khan Bhatti, principal secretary of CM Punjab was doing undue interference in his job who himself issued the transfer orders of patwari to deputy commissioner of every district and DPO. The bureaucracy working in Punjab is too much weary of illegal orders of principal secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
Sources said dozens of officers from police service and administrative service are contacting chief secretary Kamran Ali Afzal persistently for their transfer to federation.
