In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit of police carried out surprise raids at multiple jails across the territory today.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Central Jail Srinagar and District Jail Kupwara were specifically targeted during the operation.
Officials said the search drive was part of an ongoing campaign to monitor activities inside prisons and ensure that no prohibited material is being used or exchanged by inmates.
