City Mayor announces to bring mega uplift project

City Mayor Peshawar, Haji Zubair Ali has announced a mega project for the uplift of the provincial metropolis from the federal government.
Addressing a function organized under the auspices of the Capital Metropolitan Government Peshawar here on Friday, he pledged special focus on the city and rural areas to improve the standard of the people. He said that in this connection a delegation comprising City Council Members will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif soon.
Besides, Chairman Tehsil Pishtakhara Haroon Siffat, Director (Finance), Shaukat Khan and former Nazim, Allah Dad Khan, chairmen City Council, Ismail. Zahid Shah, Mohammad Arif, Gohar Zaman, Malik Shahid, Afridi Khan, Sabir Khan, Zar Mohammad, Zar Mohammad, Aziz-ur-Rehman and other representatives of the local governments also attended.
On this occasion, Neighbourhood Chairmen briefed the City Mayor regarding problems of their respective localities and deteriorating cleanliness and gas & electricity load shedding.
The City Mayor assured the resolution of all their problems on priority basis and said that the process of the resolution of the problems of the people at their doorstep is continued.
He said that dengue preventive spray will be initiated in various localities of the city soon to arrest the spread of the virus. He said that besides guaranteeing cleanliness conditions, they will also utilize all available resources for the resolution of other problems also.
