Civil and military leadership made it clear in National Security Committee (NSC) in-camera meeting that there is no place for terrorists in the country and reiterated their commitment to end terrorism.

On Friday, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir said in NSC meeting that centre of gravity is the people of Pakistan and their will is Pakistan’s constitution and parliament. according to constitution authority will be used through parliament and elected members.
Prime minister Shehbaz Shareef said peace restored due to huge sacrifices of our martyrs, this all struggle discarded in four years.
He questioned why terrorism returned to country and who brought it? Billions of funds given to Khyber PK people were used where? we have to take answer of these questions.
According to sources in-camera session of National Security Committee was held on Friday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, Drictor General (DG) inter services intelligence (ISI), Director Genela Military Operations (DGMO), and higher military leadership, Interior Secretary, Foreign Secretary, Finance Secretary, Defence Secretary, Information secretary, Four Provincial chief ministers, Chief secretaries, and Inspector General of police (IGPs) from four provinces attended the NSC in-camera session.
Higher military leadership briefed members over internal security situation of the country.
DGMO took member parliament in confidence on peace and ongoing anti terrorism operation in Wazirstan.
After DGMO, DG ISI also briefed meeting.
Army chief and higher military leadership answered the question of members regarding internal and external security, sourced told.
PM Shehbaz paid tribute to Army, Rangers, Police and other law enforcement agencies officers and men.
He said Pakistan sacrificed more than 80,000 lives in war against terror. Peace restored due to huge sacrifices of our martyrs. This struggle discarded in four years.
While raising the question on this occasion PM said why terrorism returned to country and who brought it back? Funds were given to all provinces under Fata reforms for purposes, that money went where? Millions of funds and resources given to KP government used where? We have to take answer of these questions.
According to sources, Army Chief congratulated parliament and member on the completion of fifty year of the implementation of constitution of Pakistan.
Army Chief said centre of gravity is the people of Pakistan and constitution and parliament are the manifestation of the will of people of Pakistan.
