The citizens, traders, social and political figures and civil society held protest demonstration in front of Kadhan Press Club against demolition of houses of indigenous people, occupation over land and aggressive act by the management of Bahria Town in Karachi.
The protest led by Mumtaz Ali Jat, Abdul Ghafoor Chandio, Zaffar Hussain Hyderi, Kifiat, Gul Muhammad Gurgaiz, Noor Ahmed Jamali, Ranoo Mal Kolhi, Ali Muhammad Shoro and others.
While addressing representatives said attack over ancient villages, aggression and occupation of land in Karachi by the management of Bahria Town was anti Sindh and people of the province and such conspiracy would not be tolerated.
They said illegal occupation has created anguish and unrest among the people of province. The representatives said deliberately indigenous people of those villages in Karachi were targeted to grab and occupy the land gain irrelevant ends.
They condemned the illegal and aggressive act of management of Bahria Town in Karachi. They also said their peaceful protest to be continued till justification.
