Clash between Pak – Afghan forces at Torkham border

Arm clash took place at Pak-Afghan sharing border Torkham on Monday.
Official and local sources informed that arm battle erupted when the Afghan border security attempted to build post on disputed land near Pakistani post, bigbang at the border.
On refusal of the Afghan forces, the Pak troops carried out warning ariel firing that caused ful fledged arm fight.
The sources informed that one Pakistani soldier sustained injuries during cross firing and was shifted to forces health center for medical treatment.
Torkham border was suspended for all kinds of movement and forces of the both neighboring countries assumed positions at the crossing,sources said.
On the other hand arm fighting between the two countries created fear in Bacha Maina village of the border and the residents started evacuating their houses and took refuge somewhere in Landi Kotal.
One resident, Abdullah said forces of the both countries being utilized light and heavy weapons while targeting one another positions.
Till filing cross firing at the border was in progress, sources said.
It’s to be stated here that since long border officials of Pak-Afghan object on one another while eructing new post or new construction near the border.
