A week long cleanliness campaign was begun in District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital aimed at creating awareness among the visiting patients and their attendants here on Saturday.
The activity was organized by the administration of the health center with assistance of health staff and general people.
Speaking on the occasion Medical Superintendent (MS)Dr Jamshed Sherani said that being Muslims cleanliness is part of our Faith and that is why it has a significant position in our religion.
“Neat environment indicates a high civic sense of a society and prevailing healthy atmosphere in the hospital ensures better healing facilities to be available to the ailing elements of the society, ‘’ he opined.
He urged people from different walks of life to join hands with them in the social and welfare activity to keep the health center neat.
The drive will continue for a week and the volunteers will take part actively to clean every corner of the hospital.
