PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Tuesday announced a two month special remission to prisoners across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. A notification issued by the Home and Tribal Affairs Department KP said that CM Mahmood Khan has granted sixty days remission to all the prisoners confined in jails of the province. However, those convicted under anti-terrorist act anti-state activities will not be abe to avail this opportunity. The special reduction in sentences will take effect on April 29, 2022. DLP Report
