Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has strongly condemned India’s unprovoked drone attacks on Pakistani cities, calling it a blatant act of aggression and a serious violation of international law.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Chief Minister lauded Pakistan’s security forces for their timely and effective response in intercepting and shooting down enemy drones, thereby foiling India’s “nefarious intentions.”
“Our security agencies remain ever-vigilant and are fully capable of responding to any hostile move from the enemy. The nation stands firmly behind them,” said Gandapur.
He accused the Indian government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of deliberately targeting civilian populations for two consecutive days.
“This shameful and condemnable act is a grave threat to regional peace and the safety of even the Indian public,” he said.
Gandapur warned the Modi government to refrain from unprovoked aggression or be prepared to face severe consequences.
“Our armed forces have already delivered a strong counterattack, forcing the enemy to retreat and admit defeat,” he said.
“The entire Pakistani nation is united. Every citizen stands with our brave armed forces, and we will respond in a way that the enemy’s future generations will remember,” he added.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the province’s full support for national defense and praised the courage and professionalism of the country’s armed forces in protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty.
