Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Dost Mohammad Khan on Sunday constituted a high level investigation committee to probe suicide attack on PTI candidate Ikramullah Gandapur.
The chief minister also asked DI Khan district administration to submit a comprehensive report within 12 hours.
Head of Counter Terrorism Department with lead the committee that comprises Intelligence Bureau, ISI officials as well as superintendent and senior superintendent of police (headquarters).
The CM tasked the committee to point who was behind such attacks and locate their mentors who wanted to create anarchy in the country and sabotage peaceful elections.
The CM ordered DI Khan administration to submit a comprehensive report about security provided to the assassinated leader of PTI and how the suicide bomber reached the target in presence of the security.
