Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore.
Addressing inaugural session of Jinnah Institute of Cardiology, she said “ this hospital was my dream. Heart disease has so increased that every home has a heart patient. The heart patients from all over Pakistan can come here for treatment.
It is my responsibility to do public oriented welfare work. Treatment and medicines are being provided free in Punjab. Political parties should focus on public service.
“I say with regret that characteristic of political parties is corruption and altercation but PML-N characteristic is only service and development.
If all political parties pursue the habit of service the country makes progress.
She said Heart transplant incurs at least 50000 dollars expenses . Funds will be established for heart transplant. Heart transplant will start from tomorrow in Jinnah Institute of Cardiology. Free treatment for heart diseases will be provided to people of Punjab.
State of the art hybrid cath laboratory has been set up in Jinnah Institute of Cardiology., The best wards of the world have been built therein. The most modern machines are available therein.
Operations of over 12000 children were conducted in a year.
16 Cath labs have become functional in Punjab. We are going to launch home dialysis project for people of the province.
She said government will be considered a failed government if their rights are not given to people.
