Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah telephoned Amin-ul-Haque and expressed grief over killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) worker during a protest, media reported on Thursday.
Murad Ali Shah, during telephonic conversation, said that such incident are not acceptable under any circumstances and assured the MQM-P leader of comprehensive inquiry of the incident.
Murad Ali Shah said that post mortem will reveal the reason behind the death of the worker and a strict action will be taken against anyone found involved in the unfortunate incident.
Murad Ali Shah, while inviting Amin-ul-Haque to hold talk on the provincial local bodies act, said that all political differences should be solved through talks and other political channels.
The spokesperson of CM said that Amin-ul-Haque expressed satisfaction on government’s steps for transparent inquiry in the incident.
It merits mention that MQM-P joint organizer succumbed to wounds after police used force and baton-charged demonstrators in order to disperse protesters from outside Sindh CM House in Karachi on Wednesday.
The MQM workers had staged a sit-in protest in front of the Sindh CM House against the Sindh local government act. Due to the sit-in, the traffic system was badly disrupted and the citizens faced severe difficulties.
