PESHAWAR
Adviser to Chief Minister on Home and Tribal Affairs Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Babir Saleem Swati has taken a notice of public complaints related to closure of arms license section in the department. He issued instructions to officials concerned to immediately re-open the section operation under the Home and Tribal Affairs department and ensure smooth operations for issuing arms licenses.
Following the directions, the department concerned has also issued a notification regarding the re-opening of the section which was closed earlier this week after surfacing allegation of corruption and nepotism.
Adviser to CM Babir Saleem Swati also directed the officials of the Interior Department to submit an inquiry report as soon as possible. He said that all steps should be taken for removing obstacles in public service delivery, warned that lapses in the execution of duties will not be tolerated.
