CM’s aide attends khuli katchery to discuss problems of mining sector investors

Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Minerals, Arif Ahmadzai Thursday attended a Khuli Katchery at Jamrud to discuss and solve problems of mining sector investors. The khuli katchery among others was attended by Director General Mines, Fazal Qadir, Additional Secretary Mines, Hameedullah, representatives of Bank of khyber and concerned officials.
Speaking on the occasion, CM’s aide said that Geological Survey of Pakistan has been tasked to conduct a survey and compile data of mineral resources situated in KP.
He said that digitization of mineral record would help invite investment in the province and added that steps are underway to establish one window operation aiming facilitation of interest parties.
He said that process to give grant to children of mine workers has been completed and issues relating to demarcation of mineral resources would be resolved very soon.
Arif Ahmadzai also issued directed authorities to solve problems of investors, locals and lease holders at the earliest.
