PESHAWAR: The Regional Meteorological Center Peshawar on Friday predicted that cold and cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the province, while very cold in upper districts and hilly areas. It said rain and snowfall over the hills is expected in Chitral, Lower & Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Bajaur, Mohmand, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda, Khyber, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Orakzai, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, DI Khan, Kurram, North & South Waziristan districts. During the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed over most districts of the province. However, rain occurred in Mansehra district. Rain recorded in Balakot was 02mm. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in centigrade at different stations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were Peshawar 18/04, Chitral 11/-03, Timergara 12/02, Dir 09/-03, Mirkhani 12/-02, Kalam 06/-14, Drosh 10/-02, Saidu Sharif 14/00, Pattan 11/03, Malam Jabba 05/-07, Takht Bhai 18/01, Kakul 10/-03, Balakot 11/00, Parachinar 12/-02, Bannu 19/04, Cherat 10/02, DI Khan City 21/08. The lowest temperature recorded in the province was -14 in Kalam. APP
