Commissioner Bannu Division and Chairman of the Bannu Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Captain (Retd.) Khalid Mahmood, attended the annual Matric (9th and 10th grades) examination results announcement ceremony as the chief guest. Upon his arrival at the Bannu Education Board, he was warmly welcomed and presented with a bouquet and a commemorative portrait.
Addressing the ceremony, Captain (Retd.) Khalid Mahmood congratulated the position-holder students on their outstanding achievement, saying that their success was the result of hard work, their parents’ prayers, and the dedicated guidance of their teachers. RDO Umar Hayat Khan was also present on the occasion.
Controller of Examinations Farooq Khan and Board Secretary Noor Alam Wazir also addressed the gathering. They congratulated the successful students, their parents, and teachers, and said that the Bannu Education Board is continuing practical measures to improve educational standards and modernize the examination system.
The Commissioner expressed hope that the position holders would continue their academic excellence and bring pride to the country. He added that the Board is committed to promoting a transparent and merit-based examination system to provide better opportunities for students.
During the ceremony, Captain (Retd.) Khalid Mahmood distributed cash prizes, shields, and certificates among the position-holder students on behalf of the Bannu Education Board and himself. Heads of educational institutions whose students secured top positions were also honored with cash awards and commemorative shields.
The ceremony concluded with participants, parents, teachers, and guests appreciating the Bannu Education Board for its transparent examination system and the successful organization of the event.
