The Divisional Commissioner Silwat Saeed presided over the meeting of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company( FIEDMC) and took a briefing on the facilities provided in M-3 Industrial City, Value Addition City and Allama Iqbal Industrial City managed by the company.
The Deputy Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh and Additional Commissioner Coordination Tariq Mehmood were also present on this occasion. CEO FIEDMC Muhammad Tanveer Jabbar, Deputy General Manager Zubair Aziz and other officers of FIEDMC participated.
The Divisional Commissioner, while reviewing the allotment of plots in Special Economic Zones and the security provided to foreign investors said that the provision of roads, electricity, sewage, water supply and other basic facilities should be ensured according to the requirements.
She appreciated the steps taken to establish FIEDMC Expo-cum-Business, FIEDMIC Healthcare City, FIEDMC Industrial Knowledge Park and FIEDMC IT Park and further said that, it is on priority to make Special Economic Zones ideal in terms of development for which all available resources will be used.
The Divisional Commissioner, while reviewing some of the problems being faced in the industrial zones, said that along with fool-proof security, other issues including transfer of land will be resolved on priority basis.Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner Silwat Saeed presided over the briefing meeting of Divisional Public School and College.
Additional Commissioner Revenue Tariq Khan Niazi and Principal Shahid Mehmood informed about the teaching and administrative matters. The meeting was informed that 6 institutions of DPS are functional in the division in which 4951 students are studying, 435 teaching and 554 non-teaching staffers are also performing their duties.
They informed about the details of curricular and co-curricular activities, board results, financial affairs, available facilities, organization of sports competitions and other details. The Divisional Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the Divisional Public School & College for providing quality and purposeful education and said that character building according to the modern requirements of the students is indispensable.
For which regular tutorial days should be held every month so that the students can improve their skills through training and questions on various topics, so that they can advance in the academic field with a strong mind and meet the future requirements concretely. She said that speech competitions should be further developed while book club are being established to inculcate the book reading among the students. Apart from bringing, the library should also be upgraded.
She praised the overall performance of the school and said that the security measures in the schools should be further improved while need to train the teachers, keep the financial affairs transparent, maintain high order and maintain the best cleanliness environment at all time.
